Welcome to the Department of Curriculum 和 Instruction (DCI) in Florida Atlantic’s College of Education (COE). The DCI is home to undergraduate 和 graduate degree programs. We prepare high-quality teachers 和 educational professionals (e.g., instructional designers). Our undergraduate, master’s, specialists, 和 doctoral programs offer students several options leading to traditional careers in PK-12 schools or opportunities with education-related 和 non-profit organizations. Students interested in a traditional university experience will find a rich mix of campus life activities. Three master’s programs are offered entirely online as well as several graduate certificates that can be completed as part of a master’s degree for working professionals 和 advanced students.

The Department offers many opportunities for students to explore an array of topics through a host of disciplines. For example, students interested in promoting literacy may be eligible for tuition support through the James Patterson Teacher Education Scholarship . There is also the 阀杆 Education Laboratory for students interested in science, technology, engineering, 和 mathematics (阀杆), where students can learn about ways to improve 阀杆 education.
